{"id":249102,"date":"2024-10-19T16:25:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T16:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-6160-11989\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T11:36:31","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T11:36:31","slug":"bs-6160-11989","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-6160-11989\/","title":{"rendered":"BS 6160-1:1989"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This standard applies to radio transmitting and receiving equipment and systems used in the mobile services.<\/p>\n<p>This standard is restricted to land and mobile stations in the mobile services and to portable and personal equipment which may operate in one or more radio-frequency channels in the frequency range below 1 000 MHz and is intended for the transmission and the reception, either in a simplex or a duplex mode, of emissions modulated by a single information channel.<\/p>\n<p>In this standard, the equipment includes the aerial (antenna) change-over device or the duplexer, if used, but does not include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the aerial (antenna) or aerial (antenna) system except in the case of equipment using integral aerials (antennas);<\/li>\n<li>the input transducer of the transmitter;<\/li>\n<li>the output transducer of the receiver except in the case of equipment using integral transducers (see note).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE The performance of the equipment depends upon that of the input and the output transducers used.
