This Standard specifies requirements for chemical admixtures to be added to concrete mixes incorporating portland and blended cements.

6 Information on permeability-reducing admixtures is given in Appendix F.7 Admixtures that have been acceptance tested and approved to AS 1478—1992 and that meet the requirements of this Standard do not require re-assessment.
