Specifies installation requirements in vehicles for the types of hoists and ramps covered in Part 1.
Scope
This Standard specifies requirements for the installation in motor vehicles of hoists and ramps of the types specified in AS/NZS 3856.1. This Standard does not include the installation of appliances for hoisting unoccupied wheelchairs into or onto a vehicle.
