Specifies the general technical requirements for pliers and nippers for general use. This Standard is identical with and reproduced from ISO 5743:1988.
Scope
This International Standard specifies the general technical requirements to be met by pliers and nippers.
This International Standard applies neither to insulated tools for live intervention works nor to antistatic tools. Plastic coatings or plastic sleeves are intended for gripping comfort only.
