1.1 This British Standard specifies dimensions for the following types of lathe spindle noses, their faceplates and component parts:

Accessories for Type Camlock:

1.2 The sizes are denoted by numbers which appear at the head of the tables.

1.3 The range of sizes for Type A spindle noses and faceplates is from No.3 to No. 28.

1.4 The range of sizes for Camlock spindle noses, cams, studs, faceplates and accessories is from No. 3 to No. 20.

Specifies dimensions for Type A and camlock lathe spindle noses, their faceplates and component parts.
