Description

This standard applies to the requirements and tests of rubber gaskets (A) and rubber corks with synthetic fibers (C) for gas fittings and gas appliances which come into contact with gases according to the DVGW code of practise G 260, except LPG in liquid phase , The highest operating temperature is 100 ° C for rubber cork seals and 150 ° C for synthetic rubber cork seals. The permissible operating pressure is limited to 1 bar for rubber cork seals, and to 4 bar for synthetic rubber seals.
