It applies to heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), coaches and passenger cars.<\/p>\n<p>Recommendations include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>the type and size of damage that can be repaired;<\/li>\n<li>the area on the windscreen in which repairs of particular types and size can be made;<\/li>\n<li>procedures for the repairer;<\/li>\n<li>steps to assess the quality of finished repairs;<\/li>\n<li>reports and records for completion and retention by the repairer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This standard does not apply to special types of glazing such as bullet-resistant glazing and glass\u2013plastics glazing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Automotive windscreen repair.
