{"id":496758,"date":"2024-11-05T13:00:48","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T13:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/as-4777-32005\/"},"modified":"2024-11-05T13:00:48","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T13:00:48","slug":"as-4777-32005","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/as\/as-4777-32005\/","title":{"rendered":"AS 4777.3:2005"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Specifies grid protection requirements for inverter energy systems with ratings up to 10\u00a0kVA for single-phase, or 30\u00a0kVA for three-phase, systems and intended for connection to the low-voltage electricity distribution network (grid). <\/p>\n<p><b>Scope<\/b><\/p>\n<p> This Standard specifies the requirements for grid protection devices intended to be used in inverter energy systems, with ratings up to 10\u00a0kVA for single-phase units, or up to 30\u00a0kVA for three-phase units, and for the injection of electric power through an electrical installation to the electricity distribution network. <\/p>\n<p> Although this Standard does not apply to larger systems, similar principles can be used for the grid protection of such systems. <br \/> These devices do not replace devices used for protection and\/or isolation as required in AS\/NZS\u00a03000. <br \/> Although this Standard is written on the basis that the renewable energy is from a d.c. source (e.g. photovoltaic array), this Standard may be used for systems where the energy is from a variable a.c. source (e.g. wind turbine or micro-hydro system) by appropriate changes to the tests. <br \/> This Standard does not include EMC requirements. These requirements are mandated by the Australian Communications Authority (ACA).
